    NINJA Question –

I have a week left until REG but would like to look at additional material. From the experienced NINJA users, what would you suggest that I use? Ninja notes or which product? I plan on using more materials for FAR but only have a week to REG. Please recommend a specific product, if you’ve used Ninja.

*** Also, on the Ninja audio, what are you able to download it to, to listen to it? Would it be workable on all devices? I don’t see the actual devices listed anywhere. Looks like it would be great to listen to in the car, though.

    Thanks!

    Mary,

I would get the notes, audio and mcq's. All 3 really helped me improve my audit score (70 to 88). The audio is just a set of mp3 files, so you can play them on any device that can play mp3s.

Awesome, thank you. I am really interested in listening to the audio first, the more that I read about positive experiences with it. Sounds like it should work fine on my iPhone, then. Thank you!

Ninja Audio single-handedly taught me Like-Kind Exchanges – it was much easier to understand Jeff's explanation than my review. I recommend it! I listen to it on my iPhone non-stop, 2 weeks before my exams.

    AUD: 84 - Oct. 2013
    BEC: 83 - Feb. 2014
    REG: 91 - May, 2014
    FAR: 68, 96 - Oct. 2014...DONE

    CPAExcel, Ninja Audio (all sections)

I highly recommend the Ninja audio. I got it a couple of weeks ago and listen to it whenever I am in the car. I have Becker for my other review material, but there are some things that Jeff can explain in a slightly different way that help me understand it better. I also purchased the notes. It appears that the notes and audio are very similar in what they cover, so it depends on if you are a visual or auditory learner. Obviously I can't read notes while driving, so audio is perfect.

    FAR 7/8/14 - 88 - Becker live course
REG 10/14/14 - 82 - Becker live course, Ninja notes and audio
BEC 11/25/14 - 88 - Becker live course, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions
AUD 2/3/15 - 94 - Becker self study, Ninja audio, Wiley book for extra questions

Thanks for your input. That's why I am also considering starting with the audio (in addition to using Becker). The convenience of audio while driving would be awesome.

    @mary

If you purchase the ninja mcq you get ninja audio free until 10/15. So buy the mcq for $47 and listen to the audio then do the mcq 🙂 I loved the ninja audio for REG!

I'm a visual learner, so sometimes I have a hard time processing the Ninja Audio. However, I listen to it for weeks on end, so all of the repetition overrrides the fact that I'm not a great auditory learner. There are always a few things that I have to write out when I get close to my test because I'm just not getting it by solely listening– usually journal entries or T accounts. But I know there have been things on my tests that I answered directly from Jeff's audio.

He's basically reading the Ninja Notes to you. Sometimes I use the 2 products together, so that I can follow along visually while Jeff reads it.

It was really weird getting in the car after my test yesterday and not having Ninja Audio to listen to. I've pretty much been listening to one section or another nonstop this whole year. So that was weird going back to my music radio station!

Hmmm, I just saw the post above mine saying that you get free Ninja Audio when you buy Ninja MCQ. I'm not aware of that deal, but there is a deal where you get free Ninja Blitz when you buy Ninja MCQ through 10/15.

Ninja Blitz is a video course of sorts, with slides and Jeff telling you about the slides. It has audio as part of that, but it is not the straight audio course that you get in MP3 format like Ninja Audio is.

@kimboroni I'm sorry my mistake… I thought ninja audio and ninja blitz were one in the same! :/
