Not sure which method will make the program work better or more efficient, any thoughts?

I don't think it will make a huge difference as long as you're doing a lot of questions. I tend to let it pick from everything rather than trying to see every question at least once because the occasional repeats help me to remember them better, but others prefer to feel as if they've at least seen everything once.

I've been hitting my problem areas and questions-missed-last-time, which seemed to help me a lot. There's one thing to watch out for though…don't pay attention to your trending score if you start hitting the trouble areas. I made a 50% on a set of 30 problem questions, and my trending score went up 5 points. I think they're weighted somehow?

They are weighted to put more emphasis on the most recent and I believe I've seen Jeff say that they are also weighted based on the quantity tested disclosures, i.e. if 15% of the exam is supposed to cover financial management and 30% IT, then the IT questions will have more impact on your NINJA overall trending score than the financial management questions.
