    NINJA Question –

I wasn’t sure if there was an updated version of the Ninja MCQs for Regulation. I test at the end of this month but I wanted to only be tested on the most up to date MCQs. I know “Federal Tax Process, Procedures, Accounting, and Planning” Isn’t on the exam anymore but it’s still on the Ninja MCQs and I wasn’t sure if I should just manually exclude those whenever I do my MCQs. I guess it’s my fault for not looking at the AICPA website but unfortunately I wasn’t a good amount of time going over those topics. I guess this whole time I thought all the MCQs were up to date. I’m just not sure what to do and i’d appreciate any advice. Thanks.

All of the questions are up to date. It's just the category isn't, but that doesn't make any difference because all the AICPA did was merge a few category together.

@Anthony Thanks for your response. So you mean all of the questions that are fair game on the exam are up to date, but there's still questions that won't be tested on the exam? Because I know there's a handful of questions on Negotiable Instruments but that isn't being tested anymore.

But I know Sec 179 expenses are fair game. In the Ninja MCQs the maximum deduction is $500,000 but in the Ninja Notes that are updated for 2017 state that the Maximum deduction is $510,000. That's why I wasn't sure if it would be best just to switch test banks.

I'm pretty sure the Sec 179 is still $500k because there was a discussion about it @ the study group. All of Ninja questions that are not relevant any more like negotiable instruments are most likely gone.

@jsn3004 Hey! Great question. The content of REG MCQ is updated for the current exam. We do not have the new document review sims yet, but we are working on a software update. However, you can do the sample DRS on the AICPA's website to get some practice.

    I hope that helps!

    HiYa!
