18 Days Until Audit Exam – Ninja Audio & MCQ

Hi everyone! I wanted to get some advice in case I may be underestimating the difficulty of the Audit Exam, which I have scheduled on 9/9 (in 18 days). I just took BEC last Thursday, and then FAR before that. I wanted to squeeze those three in this one testing window because I start work in 10/24 and wanted to leave room in case I needed to do a retake before then in Q4.

I graduated this past May with a Masters in Accountancy, so with all of my tax classes and my tax internship, I was able to pass REG with NINJA Audio and Ninja MCQ. I was thinking about taking the same approach with Audit as well. I’ve taken way more Audit classes than I desired in my program, despite being on a tax track, so I was hoping, like in the case of REG, that saving time by using Ninja Audio to fill in any gaps, and focusing all my study time by doing all the Ninja MCQs would be more efficient for me. I’m studying full time and I also have Becker provided by my firm, but I really don’t like their teaching style.

So what do you think? Am I naively oversimplifying things? Is Ninja Audio enough? Are there specific topics wherein I really should watch the Becker lectures? Would Roger’s cram course be a better strategy? I really appreciate any input.

I could also reschedule to a later date in October, but I'm reluctant to in case I have to retake FAR or BEC. I find out if I pass FAR on 8/24 but not BEC until 9/9.

For me the Audio wasn't enough. It doesn't go into as much detail as it should for the Audit. However, the ninja mcq is really good, probably the best software out there. If you learned a lot from your Audit courses and think you know the material well enough, the Ninja Mcq might be enough. All you should do is read all the descriptions of the answers (right or wrong) so you can refresh your memory. However, if you don't remember the material from your courses I would recommend getting some extra study material, not ninja notes (they are basically same as the audio). I have been using Wiley so I can't really help you choose between Becker or Roger. But I would think Roger might be your best choice because watching the lectures will take up a lot of time.

I am also set to take Aud exam on the same week as you!!
