Hi-

I have been reading about the SIMs for REG and I am starting to get a little anxious. I am using Gleim and felt well prepared for FAR. So, my question is are the Gleim SIMs similar to what I can expect to see on the actual exam? [EDITED] by Cooper 25.

FYI no one can actually answer the question about whether or not you have to fill out an actual tax form on the exam or not.

I used CPA Excel and I passed REG on the first try and am now waiting for my AUD score. I was very pleased with the similarity between the practice questions and sims with what was on the test. On your sims, just remember that you have all the tax codes there, so you don't have to remember everything…when in doubt, look it up to get some guidance.

I used Gleim also, and I felt like the Gleim sims were very indicative of the actual exam. Same difficulty level and same type of content/format
