Need advice about Gleim Review

So I didn’t pass BEC in Feb, but I only missed it by a few points. I used Roger Philipp and Wiley! I think that the review material is really good and I felt really prepared before I took the exam. Even when I walked out of the exam, I could have sworn I passed but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. So now I am studying again and I will test in May. I started reviewing all the material from scratch, basically doing MCQ from Wiley and after seeing the questions a million times, I was getting everything right. People recommended Gleim review so I ordered it and I have been going through the questions but OMG it’s over 2000 questions. And not to mention I am scoring low on everything. I even think that the questions are overly complicated. I have taken BEC more than once and I have never seen half of these MCQ/concepts tested before. Am I wasting my freakin time going through these questions?? should I just continue with Wiley and then brush up on the COSO topic (since I scored weak on this part, considering it is a new topic this year). I need advice, please. Anyone?

I say continue using Gleim. You obviously need more questions since you were getting all your other ones right. Also, even if you are unsure about the testability of some of the questions you will still be enhancing your problem solving skills if you do them. Reading and understanding the questions is often times one of the hardest parts for me.

Amazing… I too studied with Roger CPA review for the BEC exam. In addition, I also went through his BEC Cram course.

I failed BEC twice using his system, and I'm so frustrated! I study every single day & really felt I understood the material very well. I re-took BEC on 05/23/11 for the 3rd time. I decided also to use Gleim software to study. I too was very overwhelmed by the over 2000 questions! I got through all of those questions, and I too hadn't seen many of them before with the Roger CPA review system. I must say that I'm glad I used Gleim, because the 3rd exam I took seemed in line with these types of questions. I still have not received my score yet, so the proof will be in the pudding! By far, BEC has been the hardest exam for me. So far I've received the following scores for BEC: 70, 71. Hopefully I will see a 75 this time!
