Is the Gleim Simulation Wizard for REG any good?

    I was thinking of purchasing the Gleim Simulation Wizard for REG. I need to improve on my Simulation performance because I’m pretty sure that’s what caused my 74 last window. It’s $100. Is this any good? Are they challenging like the real exam?

    Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    @CPAMAN,

    I was looking at the same thing. I would love to see what people think too!

    Does the Simulation Wizard have a lot of questions? I want to make sure that I'm going to get enough practice questions.

    Thanks!

    It has 3 per section and there are 20 sections. Each sim has 7 tabs including 1 research tap. I got my passing grade yesterday and I am still flying high today.

    CPAMan, was just looking into this product from Gleim too and came across your thread.. what review course have you been using? i was just noticing the dates of your passing exams n it seems whatever you started using earlier this year has been great for you.

    (I'm currently shopping for a new course after failing reg & audit twice using Becker)

    AUD- 56, 64, 73, 70
    REG- 57, 66, 80
    BEC- 8/31/12

    Used Yaeger, Wiley and Gleim for all 4. Nothing changed in my study methods. I have no idea why my scores in the beginning of the year were significantly higher.

    Gleim was EXTREMELY helpful to me for REG simulations…almost like the actual exam. I posted about it a month ago.

    I used the Wiley Test Bank, Gleim Simulations, and Jeff's “re-write your notes” strategy for REG and my score jumped from a 63 to an 85. I liked the test bank much better than Gleim MCQs. Jeff's strategy is what made the difference- If you can't write your own notes, then you should buy Jeff's Study Ninja and re-write those.

    I bought the Study Ninja too, but I think rewriting my own notes is what truly made the difference for me.

    Are GLEIM simulations more difficult that BECKER?

    I'm preparing using BECKER, but feel like simualtions in BECKER are more easier than those I saw on real exam(((

    Thanks in advance!
