I see everyone hype the hell out of Gleim CPA Review and how difficult/realistic the TBS are… I use Roger and am very happy with it, but wouldn’t mind the extra sims. Am I supposed to purchase the Gleim Mega Test Bank for the sims?

No. The SIMs are unfortunately only in the review course, as far as I’ve seen. I’ve used Gleim for all 4 sections and the review course and the test bank are 2 different things. The test bank is just MC questions.

I have the Gleim test bank for REG which includes mcq and Sims. There are about 10 Sims for each of the 20 study units. There is also like 2000 mcq overall. You can buy the test bank by itself for around $250.

Worth the $250? Did you find the SIMS from Gleim accurate with what you saw on FAR (based on blueprint)?

You will see sales (50% off) pops up.
I got REG test bank for $150.
The SIMs are not as good as Rogers but Gliem MCQs are great.

I bought Gleim specifically for REG so I can't tell you if it's realistic based on any exam experience. However, I have Becker and Wiley and it seems like it's much harder. I also bought it because a lot people o n here have used it to pass REG with 80+ scores.

I have used Roger, Wiley(CPA Excel), Becker, NINJA and Gleim. Gleim’s sims are the closest simulation to the real exam that I have encountered. I did Gleim REG in college for tax as an MBA class, did REG in Becker FastPass (4 weeks)right after college, and made an 82 on my first REG CPA exam.
