    Hi all

Has anyone using the Gleim CPA Review Reg test bank actually completed 100% of the questions? I find this crazy as it would take around 50 hours just to complete each question one time (and that is if you were zinging through them at a 1 min avg per question).

This completely ignores additional study time needed such as reviewing concepts for weak areas, retaking questions so you experience them again, book review, and so on.

I have been scoring around 50% to 70% on average after a few hundred MC questions (my tests have been completely random and take all available chapter sections into account). I read someone else post that when comparing vs the Wiley test bank scores are around 10-20% lower. I would concur as I have completed a similar number of questions for Wiley with the same result.

Most of the test banks will exhaust you. I used Wiley and they have ~2,300 MCQs in their test bank.

I passed all 4 sections with Gleim, and it was brutal, definitely prepares you. My strategy with multiple choice was to take about 40% of all the questions for each sub-topic with the review function. I liked knowing if I got the answer correct right away, especially when solving math intense problems. However I wouldn't try doing 40% of the multiple choice with FAR, some problems can take 20 minutes just to do the calculations so if you learn the concepts well you can get away with doing a lot less.

Absolutely. I recently tested for REG and I used Gleim as my only review course. When I looked at the performance analysis after I was done with my REG review, and few days before my exam, I literally had reviewed all of the questions for REG in the test bank. In total, I reviewed ~12,000 REG MCQs in Gleim but obviously that number includes questions from chapters I had already reviewed in previous study sessions. I got to the point were each question in my practice exam, I had seen before so my efficiency was lacking and I struggled when I took the actual exam.
