    Hi all,

This is my first time posting! I was curious what people thought of the Gleim MCQ compared to the actual exam. I know just about everyone says the actual exam is easier, but I usually score between 60 – 70 on my first attempt at a study unit’s MCQs after reading through the chapter. Does this seem to be the score most people who have studied with Gleim get on their first attempts of practice MCQs? Just looking for some guidance! Thanks!

Aj. I’m using Gleim for review and can say your scores are good for first time going through questions. From my experience I had average score 70% per all 20 units in FAR and passed with 80, 75% average in BEC and passed with 76. Also I can say that degree of difficulty MCQ and sims on exam is the same as Gleim’s questions

60-70% is pretty decent. I remember sometimes I would get 10%-30% depending on the topic. FAR was a nightmare.

I use Gleim and I have taken three sections so far, most recent, BEC on July 6th. Gleim is off the charts more difficult that the Exam in my opinion. Prepare to want to throw your computer across the room. I usually end up averaging 75 by the end and my exam scores are 10 points higher than that. Sometimes when Gleim gets too crazy and I start to think “I'm going to fail”, I hop over to the Ninja MCQ's, which are more reflective of the actual exam, and test my true knowledge. With that said, Gleim works. There has not been a MC question on the exam that I felt was out of left field. Good Luck!
