Hey Ninja’s

If anyone is using Gleim software for studying or if anyone aware of its features,I would like to know

1) Difference between the Gleim Online and Gleim Test Prep

2) I am basically looking for studying simulations and practising them but leaning a few more MCQ’s will be beneficial as well.I was planning to buy the Gleim Simulation Wizard because lot of people on this site have recommended them. But if I put some extra $$ I can get the Gleim Online/Test Prep

3) Couldnt make out from their online site SO thought you’ll can help

I have Gleim.

I bought their Test Prep which is their Test Bank for all the MCQ's – you also get the text book with it. I also got their SIM's package too.

I did not buy the Online Gleim – that looks to be their video lectures.

For Gleim I have used it for AUD and REG. AUD the SIM's helped me a lot and for REG it did help but they are more of a learning tool to see if you understood the information or not.

I did like the MCQ's – they are hard so don't get disappointed if you do poorly. Just keep practicing and mastering the content of the exam.

I have Gleim online, which is their structured course. If you follow their steps you do a 20 question MCQ, then audio/visual, 30 question T/F, read book (online or hard copy), do another 20 question MCQ, and then 1 set of simulations. Once you do this for all 20 lessons, then you do a practice exam. Then use the test prep and sim wizard to review and practice. You have pretty much already done 800 MCQs before you even get into the test bank software. I like Gleim, however, the questions seem harder than the actual exam. I will also say that other than a few questions in my last BEC exam, I never felt any of the questions on the exam came out of left field. The course is very comprehensive. One thing though is their audio/visual is basically a slideshow with someone reading to you. So if you are looking for a video course, I don't think this is it. However, I learn better by reading and doing, so the audio/visual doesn't bother me.

The cost is $250 or a little bit over. I have never purchase the test bank separately so I guess my contribution to this thread will not help much.

I haven't taken a test yet, I'm about a month out from taking FAR though. I have found gleim to be an excellent course. I had the yaeger videos but ended up switching to gleim because I learn better by reading and doing. Gleim doesn't have a great section for videos but I really don't care for videos or for that matter learn from videos that well. It is very comprehensive as you go over many different items that could be on the exam and they have a good simulation section. I haven't passed
