I just wanted to get opinions from people who have used Gleim. Do you like it? Does it cover most/all of the required material? Good bang for the buck? Etc…

I passed AUD using just CPAReviewForFree, and I’m getting ready to take BEC having used the Wiley Online Test Bank. But I’ve never used a full review course like Becker, Roger, Yaeger, Gleim, etc…

As I look ahead to REG & FAR, I’m thinking I need a little more. If I had the money to invest in Becker or Roger, I’d do it. But I can’t invest what I don’t have, so I need a more economical solution. Wiley & CPAReviewForFree might get me there, but I’d like to be a little more assured of the 75.

Gleim’s review system seems reasonable. Any of your opinions on it are welcome, please.

    Thanks!

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 88
    REG - 87
    FAR - 86 - Woot, all done!
    Ethics - 100

Another Gleim user here. After failing Reg twice using a different review course I switched to Gleim after a coworker recommended it. I have passed three sections since switching. If you follow their study program you end up doing over 1000 MCQs. It is very comprehensive, unlike a lot of posts that I have seen I can honestly say that on exam day there was not a question on a topic that wasn't covered in Gleim. I also like the fact that in the test bank I can pick a subtopic if that is my weakness in a particular lesson.

    REG - 64, 72, 81!
    FAR - 77
    AUD - 79
    BEC - 72, 79! And Done!

I am using Gleim for the first time for my 4th shot at FAR. So far I am liking it and liking the smaller breakout of chapters and sub-units. I'm glad to see you guys like it too and it's produced some good results! Hopefully it yields a pass for me next month too!

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

@mtaylo24 Seriously?! Dang! The Gleim ad I got was like $1000 or something like that. Maybe was a rip-off masquerading as Gleim? Had no clue it was that cheap – sorry!

I originally purchased only the Gleim test bank. AKA, Test Prep Online. It comes with the book for each section. $85 per section * 4 = $350. (This may be sufficient for many people.)

I tried the free preview of the full-blow Gleim System, AKA Gleim Online, and I liked it. I wanted the unit by unit mini lecture and the related unit questions. It's nice to track which sections are problematic for you. So I upgraded to the full system, paying an addition $650 for the difference.

I suggest creating an account and trying out the free portions to see if you like Gleim.

I find the functionality excellent. I can even practice problems on my iPhone.

I've used yaeger and gleim. Yaeger has better videos of course, but I really like the Gleim questions. I really don't get that much out of the Videos. Yaeger has like 50+ hours of Vidoes for just the FAR portion alone I think. It is so boring. The Gleim way is to do problems and really analyze you got the problem wrong if you did. I think this is the better way to study than watch countless hours of boring Videos like I did with Yaeger. From here on out I'll use Gleim. Oh and Supplement with the 10 point combo.

    FAR 62, 66, 78
    AUD 66, 55, 74, 72
    BEC 79
    REG

I used Gleim and got a 93 on BEC and yeah the actual CPA exam felt easier than gleam. I think gleim works as good as anything else just the lectures are really minimal and some people don't like doing questions over and over.
