Of those that are out there who have taken or are about to to take FAR, what have you been scoring on Gleim CPA Mega Test Bank? I heard that Gleim is typically tougher than the actual test, so what is a good range I should have when completing the 30 MC test prep questions?

I averaged an 80 on the MCQs for the Gleim Practice Exam and got an 89 on the actual exam.

FAR- 89 BEC- Nov. 20th
AUD- Oct. 2 REG- Feb. 2011

For FAR, which was my first exam, I was scoring around 65-70 on average and ended up with a 75. I really felt that the MC questions saved me because the SIMS were ridiculous and I know I bombed them. Keep hammering the questions, it will save you.

Anyone have thoughts about how the Gleim REG MC's compare to the actual exam? My exam is in 8 days and I'm not scoring well at all, specifically on the tax problems. For AUD and BEC, I was scoring roughly 75-80%. For REG, I'm averaging about 60-65% after 150 hours of studing and 750+ practice problems. The tax questions seem so involved and tricky, and I'm not quite sure how it's possible to keep the various rules and exceptions straight.

What did everyone score on Gleim MC's for REG prior to the exam? Thanks!

Thanks for the information, SFCPA 13. For REG on Gleim, I scored around the same as you for FAR, about 65-70% on those problems, and got a 75 for REG. So you seem to be very close I would say. I thought REG was the toughest exam I have taken thus far, so many different rules and regulations. I felt that Gleim was definitely tougher than the REG exam, so that should have some assurance.

I got an 82 on REG – Gleim practice exam and scored 88 in actual exam.

BEC 2/8/10 - 75 (studied hard & prayed less)
REG 5/15/10 - 88 (studied less but prayed hard)
AUDITING 8/9/10 - 79 (studied hard and prayed hard)
