time has come for my last exam. obviously with impeccable timing, my Becker expired.

what do you guys recommend i get: Gleim or NINJA for FAR prep? both are $400. both have audio and large testbank. as far as i can see its similar contents. NINJA has blitz tho which GLEIM doesnt have.

both i read are harder than Becker. i feel like Gleim doesnt get enough credit on these forums but i hear their SIMs are brutal, and some coworkers swear by it.

    thoughts?

    Ninja is great if you're a self-starter/learner.

Gleim's SIMs AND MCQs are brutal. I actually supplemented Gleim with Ninja MCQs for FAR because they were just unbelievably difficult and the explanations were so long that it was taking me far too long to get through MCQ sets. The text is good, dry, but good. The lectures for FAR aren't any good as the professor is foreign, rambles, and gets ahead of himself too much. Audio is very monotone but gets the point across. That being said, I passed FAR first try with Gleim supplemented with Ninja Notes & MCQ. If you put the time in with Gleim you'll get a pass.

FAR: 80 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
REG: 87 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
BEC: 87 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
    AUD: 8/27/16

I had Gleim for FAR and hated it. The audio is monotone and makes it very hard to pay attention. Their book looks like an IRS publication with small font print and cheap thin paper. IMHO they also make it way too complicated on many issues. Harder than the test is good for doing problems but not for doing the learning stage of the review.

    I would say Ninja.

Well, really I think Roger has the most easy to understand books and lectures so I would suggest him and supplement with Ninja notes and MCQ. Roger test banks tend to not be so great.

    BEC 11/29/14 77 (Roger)
    AUD 2/23/15 60 (Roger) 4/13/2015 83 (Roger & Ninja MCQ)
    REG 5/30/2015 66 (Roger & Ninja MCQ(7 hours only)) 8/23/2015 78 (Roger & Ninja MCQ)
    FAR 11/23/2015 60 (Roger & NINJA MCQ) 2/24/2016 74 (Roger & NINJA MCQ) 5/25/2016 83 (Roger+Roger CRAM & NINJA MCQ/NOTES)
