    Gleim Question –

Does anyone have any positive experience with this software product?

I got a 74 last time around and my performance on simulations is beat. I have wiley and went through each one last time.

I did get Gleim SIM's for AUD and after I got Gleim as a supplement with Wiley – I finally nailed the AUD exam

    FAR 05/27/14; 786/110 - Done !

So do you think it's worth pushing my test back two weeks to do all of Gleim? My NTS expires next month.

Are the questions more the same of Wiley?

I would say the SIM's some are the same but not all.

The Gleim MCQ's test bank that has a huge variety and I found it helped me a lot. Yes most are similar to Wiley but also have a good amount that is not.

I depends – on Wiley how are you averaging when you take practice sessions. Are you around 80's plus or close to 70's ?

Personally I would rather be around the 80's plus before I take the exam.

If you can push back your exam two weeks and get some solid review done, you should be able to handle the AUD exam.

I also would say take notes and draw diagrams. Esp for Internal Control. By doing a flowchart i was able to get the concepts much better and by practicing non stop until I was sick in the face helped me pass the exam

I usually get around 50 percent (my first time seeing the question) on the MCs on both wiley and gleim – but I like Gleim. After one sees an MC question once or twice – it is not a good measure because of course you get it right after you know the answer. After every practice session, I go over the questions that I got wrong or marked. I have sat (unsuccessfully for BEC, AUD, REG) and have used Gleim for the most part but have wasted too much time on their texts. I was getting in the 30s and 40s for my Reg and ended up with a 73 on reg and my problem – according to the after reports wasn't the MCs but sims. The MCs aren't apparently the big issue in my case. I have no problems on IC. I have found during my current review that my previous knowledge of assertions was pretty beat.

Anyways – thank for the recommendation on the software!

As you can see, I had a lot of trouble with Audit as well. This last time I used Wiley (Test bank and SIMS) and Gleim (just SIMS) and I had a huge improvement! I really liked Gleim SIMS! There were so many compared to becker/wiley. I think part of my biggest improvement was because I got 2 research questions and found 2 other SIMS 100% in the AL on my exam.

Good luck! You can do it!

    BEC 80
    FAR 86
    REG 80
    AUD 73, 68, 72, 90!!

    DONE!!!

Going from 72 to 90 – well done! I am happy for you. I am looking to go from 74 to 75 – anything higher woud be gravy. I find the gleim sims appear to rudimentary and lack some good follow-up like where to find the answers in AL for all questions but just looking for one little point (and hopefully the allowance of more than a 42% pass rate for those of us taking the exam close to the end of the window). Hopefully this little piece will help. I definately think the TBS in Wiley's books are much more thorough. Then again, I am not acing these sims in Gleim. gotta focus….
