I have used Gleim CPA Review for the other three parts and when I did what they recommended, I passed. AUD 79 and 86 BEC. FAR 2/8/10. Has anybody used Gleim for REG and had success? Did you supplement it with any other material?

I used Gleim as well but also used Wiley as a supplement, though Wiley is very detailed.

I passed with 79.

I bought Gleim online and Gleim Test Prep for all four sections. I think that Gleim is better for AUD (memorization) than REG. I would only use Gleim for business law, but not for taxes.

If you do not understand complicated corporate tax problems, you are toast! I relied heavily on Dr. Phil Yaeger and Bob Monette at Bisk Hot Spots for complicated tax problems. I made it a point to know how to work the most complicated tax problems. Therefore, I only had 2 tax problems on my third testlet! I think that the REG program figured out that taxes were my strong area of expertise, but not business law.

I like Yaeger and Bob Monette because when they come to a multiple choice question, I stop the DVD and I answer the question. I then listen to the explanation of the answer. Yaeger even goes to the blackboard to show you the solution. I take notes if I missed the question. I find this approach more efficient and effective than the Gleim non-teaching approach. Remember, Gleim is just a group of well organized multiple choice questions.

I used the Gleim CD for all sections, except FAR as a supplement. Its the best value to have 1,000+ questions at your finger tips for the price.
