Becker Question –

I have been working in non accounting field for over 8 years and completed college 12 years back. I am going in between Olinto and Cindy’s videos and still not sure which one to pick. I feel i have forgotten most of my accounting stuff, so really need to start from the basics. Can someone please give me a feedback on their teaching style and which one is better for an accounting novice?

I have access to both and think I learned better from Yaeger. I haven't gone to school for 7 years and haven't worked in accounting for 5 years. Yaeger just explains things better and I like how a bulk of it is going over questions.

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

I chose Yaeger over Becker because of price. I liked Yaeger over other review programs because you got video, textbook, wiley test bank, and an instructor hotline. I like that their philosiphy is to teach instead of just review, I was also sold on the instructor hotline. I have never used the hotline but I am currently 3 for 3 on the tests. Plus if you go with Yaeger instead of Becker you should have enough money left over to buy a supplementry review program such as what A71 or Gleim offers.
