I am just starting studying for FAR with Becker. Just out of curiosity, what do you think the worst out of the 10 chapters is? I am just trying to know what I am getting myself into so I am not frustrated when coming across annoying and difficult chapters. It might be different for everyone, but just wanted to see if there was a common chapter the majority thought was the worst. I would appreciate your feedback.

F2 is the worst because of 2 things:

1. The amount of information in that chapter. They include so many different topics in there that make it so challenging to grasp.

2. The way they organize the information. They kept jumping back and forth on Depreciation and amortization of goodwill instead of finishing them off over a few pages. Add they add other things like franchise in the middle.

AUD - 74 "so that's what it feels like." Round 2: 79

Passing the exam is not impossible task. GIVING UP is the only way YOU can make it impossible!

Wow, thanks for the posts you guys. I am now on F2. While going through the lectures I thought it wasn't that bad. Now I am doing the MCQ and yeah, it is bad. Although, I do not think it is as bad as BEC B2 was. That was horrible. I like studying for FAR (so far) way more than BEC. I hate BEC with a passion. I will try to keep going as I await for my BEC score today. Hopefully I can get something done.

As someone who doesn't use Becker, I was wondering if those who used Becker could put in parentheses the major topics covered by the sections. e.g. I always hear “F2 is the hardest, I hate it!” but I don't even know what F2 is comprised of.. Is it business consolidations? Deferred Taxes? NFP Accounting? Gov't Accounting? Bonds? Leases???

Someone please advise what F2 is!!!

Every chapter aside from the depreciation chapter.

But it all seriousness, F2 was pretty awful. I spent a lot of time on F8 and F9 since we didn't cover that material in my college courses.
