I have the 2011 Wiley book and also a PDF version of Becker 2011. I’m studying FAR and using both. I find the Wiley book is much more detailed than Becker, but I like Becker because it explains things a lot easier than Wiley. Wiley, I feel, expects you to know the concepts and doesn’t explain. Anyway, the reason I got Becker was to get more multiple choice experience. However, I am going through the questions and it seems Becker and Wiley are identical. This is not much help because I’m just doing the same questions over and over, not different ones. It made me wonder where all these questions come from in the first place. Are they released questions from the AICPA? How else would they be identical?

Most questions are AICPA released, or at least AICPA adapted. So yes, you are going to see a lot of overlap regardless which course material you use. I find that seeing different explanations of the same topic are helpful though. Repetition is key as well.

    FAR - 68, 79
    AUD - 82
    REG - 71, 71, 80
    BEC - 76
