Wiley Test Bank or Becker MC?

Hey all, just began studying for FAR this week and have been reviewing with Becker. I’m attempting to take the exam at the end of February and just trying to figure out a study method. I was curious what people’s opinions were for the Wiley test bank. I do not feel that Becker gives you enough multiple choice questions and I know I learn well by doing questions over and over again. Anyone with experience do you find it’d be best to try the Becker MC questions after I have completed each section of FAR and then at the very end get the Wiley test bank and do many questions then? All the money is currently coming out of pocket so I would prefer not to spend another $250 or so on Wiley if it isn’t really necessary after purchasing Becker.

I used Becker at first. Memorized every freaking question, and I failed multiple times. I was studying 6pm-9pm Monday-Thursday, and 8hrs-10hrs on the weekends. Did not have kids at this point.

Now, I bought the Wiley books, test bank, and focus notes. I have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I can only study during lunch, 1-2 hrs at night, and about 8hrs max on the weekends. I passed 2 sections this past window. I believe the Wiley Test Bank would be a huge asset, and worth every penny.

    CPA EXAM: DONE!!!!
    Ethics Course: Passed
    Application Mailed: 3/16/15
    Professional Conduct Exam: 97
    Certification Date: 4/2/15!!!

I ended up having to retake FAR (69) after using only Becker…I bought the WTB for my second time around and I found that it helped a lot!!! I went from a 69 to an 80. I only added the test bank so I cant't speak on the book, etc, but it added some fresh mcq's and IMO gave better explanations for a lot of the bond questions (which were a big weak area for me the first time around).

    REG - 86
    FAR - 80
    BEC - 79
    AUD - 92...I'm done woohoo!

My scores began improving once I supplemented Becker with Wiley Test Bank.

Well worth the investment. The questions are different, some overlap. However, Wiley covers the material in more depth therefore the questions are a bit more tough. If you have the extra cash I would recommend the Wiley books as well, especially for Audit.
