Why there are two chapters on Govt Accounting in Becker\’s

    I am wondering if there are any major changes in Govt Accounting that Becker’s has two big chapters on Govt accounting ?
    I have gone through both chapters and compared with old book but still clueless why 2 chapters ?
    Any guess?

    F9 is more governmental (state and local etc). F10 is more NFP or the other way around. Hence, the 2 chaps.

    @WannaFree The first chapter covers overview, JEs for appropriations/encumbrances etc. and governmental funds. The second one covers proprietary and fiduciary funds, reconciliation, and presentation of statements

    Got it.I noticed more JE and FS compared to old textbook.
