Becker Question –

I know it sounds silly.

My software expires on May 4th (my exam is on May 7th).

Will I have access to it for the day of the 4th? Or 12am on the beginning of the 4th it’s gone?

Just trying to plan accordingly.

I once had to study for a week at a house with no internet. I was able to download the lectures. I can’t recall if I could download the questions as well. You could try this on your own, though.

WTF Becker. In what possible way is that 1 day?

What I would do is delete the APP off your phone. Then download the lecture onto your computer and disable internet access, when accessing the Becker software. You also need to turn back the clock, in order to get into the software. I think the software checks the system time/date as well as the Becker server's time & date.

So on my laptop with the actual software…..I should turn the date back on my computer?

Then Keep it disconnected from WIFI so it doesn't know it's expired?

If there is no Internet connection, there will be no communication between your computer and becker servers, but you can still do homework, watch downloaded lectures. … I think you have up to a week to use the software without Internet connection. Let us know how it goes.

I received a pop up when I tried turning off wifi before – but it kept opening and I couldn't closed it.

Does any one else know if voids your license for all sections or if it may just cause an issue for that section you're working on?

Natalie. My Becker expired in the last few days. I would just pay $47 for Ninja MCQ's and switch to those.

No, but it seemed to be all day. I had the same concerns you are having. Spend the $47 and forget giving Becker any more money or worrying about not having study material. Go over what ever you feel is super important from Becker tomorrow. Then do NINJA MCQ's for the last few days. The $47 is worth the peace of mind.

Yea, you have to set the date back on your computer BEFORE it expires. The software might make you reinstall it (after you change the date), in which case you have to connect to the internet, having a valid license. I would set the computer back far enough to have time to study for the test. Once it's expired on Becker's server, you can't change the date, since that will trigger a software reinstall, which requires internet access. Might be a way to disable the app from your firewall, so It can't access the internet after you install it.
