I am seeing a lot of people using Becker 2012 and now Becker even has 2013 available. I am using 2011 and I am wondering if anyone has used both 2011 and 2012. I passed AUD using 2011. Is there a big difference between the two? Do you think I need to upgrade to 2012?

Has anyone passed BEC recently using 2011?

I can't speak for BEC, but I just took REG here a few weeks ago and I believe I was adequately prepared using the 2011 Becker materials. I don't think there was a single question where I was like, “I KNOW that wasn't covered in my review materials…”.

On the other hand, from what I have heard from other people one change they made from the 2011 to 2012 editions is that they turned a large portion (or all?) of the ‘Ancillary material' to be regular learning material so students wouldn't think they could just skip those areas.

Anyhow, I am also studying for BEC right now using the 2011 Becker materials. Thus far I don't see any sections where I think a large update would be needed. We will see what happens on test day though!

They reorganized BEC in 2012 but it looks like it has just about all the same material. I would recommend getting something to supplement IT as Becker does a horrible job with the IT.

Used Becker 2011 with Wiley Test bank and passed earlier this month. I went to check the updates for 2012 and it appears that the Internal Audit part is the only thing that is new but I could be wrong.

using Becker for BEC was the worst decision I made. But I passed with Yeager and Wiley and since already purchased Becker used the passmaster if you do good there you will do in the exam.

I took BEC in this current window and passed. I don't think anything is different compared to the 2012 version. As far as IT & COSO goes, I used becker, wiley test bank, and jeff's ninja notes. I was still tested on materials that weren't mentioned in any of those. I guess those were pretest.
