I finished taking REG one hour ago. Becker was spot on again with the MCQ’s and two of the SIMS. BUT THE OTHER SIMS WERE AWUFUL. Don’t even know how some people would know how to set these solutions up to even get a dang answer!!! I felt the MCQ’s were really fair. Even had some of the exact same 2,696 questions that I had completed in the Becker course.

Just got back from taking REG. Um, yeah- I'll be seeing that exam again in a few months, no doubt. Like the others said, there were topics that I've never seen in my review at all. But worse was the complete blanking out I did on topics that I knew cold when I walked in there. No idea what happened. It's going to be a long wait for the score.

Same experience as DhirenSarin I was killing on the first testlet, and

then bam the 2nd one was hard as *removed* then the 3rd one was

medium and then the sim were just weird and hard got the

research though.

Also took it yesterday and I agree SIMS were a mess. I don't know how i feel about the whole thing because I finished pretty early. I've always been a quick test taker, but I hear a lot of people struggle with time on Reg. After triple checking all of my sims I still had 25 minutes left….

Ducktales- I had a very very similar experience with you! (well this time around at least). The first time I took REG in February all my questions were really really short and sweet (not so sweet since I failed) and this time around when I re took REG in April, they were soooo long and strange! I was literally saying in my head taking the exam “whyyyyyyyyyyy AICPA whyy!!!!!”

Dhiren – we must have had the same exam. Experience sounds way too similar for it to not be. I woke up this morning feeling a lot worse than I did yesterday. Those SIMS just make me feel like I did awful, and make me question how I did on the MC

I am still wondering how can I get a simulation that Becker didn't touch seriously. I am trying to check my answers to MCQ and wondering how these simulations will be graded. Simulations were HARD.

I got the most weird simulation of all time. That thing is no where on the BECKER or any other book. All I can find is some stuff on the internet. I am feeling so bad. How can they give anything. You know REG is the most difficult exam because if you don't something you don't know something. It is all under the rules so one can not guess even like one can do on BEC, Audit or FAR.

The thing is, I saw the warning signs in this forum about the SIM well before taking it yesterday, knew it was going to be tough, and the worst thing is because Becker doesn't even touch it, that I had no idea what to do when it actually happened. GAHHHHH!

All we can hope for is a generous curve; but given the Q1 pass rates hitting all time lows I'm not confident. Already thinking about re-taking this in August.

Also count me in the “MC seemed too easy” club. The third testlet seemed to be a little harder for me, but not by much. Praying I overstudied and it was just that dang hard.
