I finished taking REG one hour ago. Becker was spot on again with the MCQ’s and two of the SIMS. BUT THE OTHER SIMS WERE AWUFUL. Don’t even know how some people would know how to set these solutions up to even get a dang answer!!! I felt the MCQ’s were really fair. Even had some of the exact same 2,696 questions that I had completed in the Becker course.

yea – the sims are pretty tough… and Im not sure how I did on the MCQ's because they all seemed too easy and were all short .. were a lot of your MCQ's short too or did I just mess up?

Most of my MC'S were short. Really short. I would rate the testlets as easy, medium, medium. Maybe because I hdad done so many MC's. I allowed one hour and fifteen minutes for the SIMS but four of them were so ridiculous. It'll be a toss up as to which one they throw out.

yea i was thinking the same thing maybe since i did so many mcqs they were all easy but i dunno- and in all honesty even though I am still mad…. I thought about it and becker probably did provide info related to like 4 out of the 6 sims and the 6th sim being the research sims.. its just that they didn't give you any example problems on how to do them :), so your stuck applying the knowledge yourself

Hi all – I just came from REG Exam. Becker did not prepare me well for simulations. First testlet wasOK. I completed in 30 minutes and had 2 questions marked which I am not sure. The second testlet started with few one liner questions so I thought that I may not have performed well in testlet one – The first three questions were really bad. No idea. There were few marked (6-7) and third testlet was manageable.

I am only confident on 3 simulations including the research one. 2 simulations were really bad. One out that was not covered by Becker with any seriousness. I am afraid. Please advise. Simulations made me feel bad coming out of exam.

Exact same experience for me too. 2nd testlet was pretty hard. Just stuff that's in the book but never reviewed in questions. The SIMS were brutal. I was pretty confident in 2 out of the 6.

Ive never walked out of an exam and had no idea how I did. I think I felt bad because the Simulations were fresh in my mind and the MCQs seemed so old that I forgot most of them

Simulations are making me feel bad. I am writing all the questions down. I one simulation that was only a small concept but OMG they made the whole simulation out of that. Another simulation was never even had concepts well explained in the becker. They even told that concept will be tested very rarely and I got a simulation out of that. What you say man?

Agreed. I was very concerned I got 3 SIMS that were not heavily covered at all in Becker. Through me for a huge loop. I kept going to the research tab and changing my answers. I have no idea how I did on 3 of them

It took me a while to find the research, but I eventually did. Obviously I cant say what the simulations are that gave me trouble, but I didnt expect to see a couple of them. I hope they a lot of partial credit.

I thought the questions were short as well. I hated reading all of those long business law questions in the review, then hardly got any of them at all on the exam

How did you guys get all the short questions!? Was I the only one who had the crazy long MCQs with lots of calculations? I feel like half of them were from left field!!! I did feel more confident on the MCQs than I did on the Sims though. Two of the sims were a piece of cake, 2 were difficult but manageable, but the other were not what I was expecting at all. There was one that wasn't covered in a single Wiley MCQ or practice Sim! Ahhhhhh

I felt prepared for this test but I don't know what happened. I guess I'll be joining you all again this summer when I have to retake REG!

The only positive thing I can think right now is that my Audit credit won't expire until late November. I have two more chances to pass REG!
