I have been using Becker review books for my tests. My study approach is generally, watch the lecture, do the multiple choice questions until I have 100% correct, move on to the next chapter and do the same. Once I have completed all of the chapters for the test I’ll go back through and review the questions I thought were hard or I missed that I “marked” while going through the questions on the first round. If I am still missing a lot of questions on a topic I will go back and review that section of the textbook. I also use the Ninja notes to review whenever I have downtime at work and I will read through them at least twice during the week leading up to my exam. This methodology has worked for me to pass AUD and BEC (both in the mid 80s), and hopefully FAR which I took in early January.
I am currently studying towards my REG exam on 2/25 and know a lot of people had trouble on this test using only the Becker materials. However, I have heard to make sure not to skip the ancillary material, so I have been reviewing this after the lecture/before MC questions as I go along.
I don’t want to spend the additional money on any more study materials if it isn’t necessary, but I also don’t want to fail the exam because I didn’t supplement the Becker materials. Does anyone have any thoughts on supplementing with the Becker Final Review, the Yaeger Cram or something else?
