    Greetings Fellow Candidates,

Hope this finds you well. I’m writing to ask if there are any major differences between the MCQs that are provided by Becker vs. the Wiley Test Bank (WTB).

I’m currently using Becker to study for the AUD section of the exam. I’ve been told that I should do MCQs until I puke and I’m just wondering if anyone has paired these two review courses? If so,

    Was it helpful?

Did the extra money shelled out for WTB give you a positive ROI?

If anything, did you find the generous number of simulations provided by WTB to be helpful?

I really appreciate your time and attention. I know you’re all very busy studying and juggling other life events, so a BIG thank you in advance. Good luck studying!

FAR - 2/28/14 PASS Praise be to God!
AUD - 7/5/14 PASS Praise be to God!
BEC - 11/29/14PASS Praise be to God!
REG - 2/28/14 PASS Praise be to God!

I personally found the WTB extremely helpful. For me, once I go through Becker a couple of times, I'm familiar with the answer, not because I'm confident with the material but because I remember seeing the answer from a previous attempt. The good thing about Wiley is, while some questions are redundant, the order of the answers may be different so it forces you to look at the problem. Also, Wiley has caught me off guard a few times on a topic I thought I knew very well and then see a question worded in a different way and have been very thankful I spent the extra time doing some of those questions.

What I do is rotate progress tests between Becker and Wiley. I'll do 20 with Becker than 20 with Wiley. I always, without fail, do better on the Becker questions that the Wiley questions.

    Good luck in your studies!

    A - 75
    B - 78 God is good.
    F - 77 Answered prayers.
    R - 84! Done!!

Paperwork sent - waiting for license!!
Still on a cloud and in shock. Through God, all things will happen.

As the above poster stated, memorizing the answers to MCQs after going through them a couple of times is very common. So it's a good idea to keep an extra test bank for the final review weeks just to make sure that you've concept down and not the answers memorized from previous attempts. One my first try for AUD I just used the Becker MCQ bank and followed the do “MCQs till you puke method” and failed miserably as I didnt realize that I had memorized all the answers and not understood the concepts as i was supposed to. hope this helps.

Also rather than getting the WTB I would say that you should give a try to NINJA MCQ as i'm seeing great reviews on it and it's cheaper than all the other TBs on the market. Good luck!

I started out with Becker only and it was a good source however I thought that Wiley was a nice compliment to Becker… The question were fresh, for the most part so if you study with one and review with the other it would help. I am using ninja mcqs now for BEC and they are worth every penny. If you have not bought Wiley yet, buy the ninja mcqs, they rock!

BEC: 5/21/14 82! PASSED HALF WAY THERE!
    FAR: 4/2/15 80! Almost there!
    AUD: 69, 74, 4/3/14 81! PASSED
    REG: TBD

Ditto on looking at the Ninja MCQ as an option. I'm a WTB user, and it's been okay for the most part, but the new version isn't the best redesign, and the old one had its problems as well. Plus they just raised the price. I'm still using WTB since I already paid for 1 year of all 4 sections (at the old price).

I haven't tried Ninja MCQ, but I'd probably get it if I didn't already have WTB.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

It's weird but I studied with Becker 100% and decided to do a set of 60 questions in WTB and scored 95 while in Becker I usually score in 70s

    FAR - 76*, 73, 85
    BEC - 69, 72, 78*, 80
    AUD - 72, 71, 90
    REG - 71, 74, 85

    AFTER 3 YEARS I'M DONE!!!
