    Hi all.

I’m a heavy reader on this forum and really value all the feedback and input everyone gives. It’s a great motivator & guide when I’m taking a study break.

I’m currently studying for FAR which is my very first exam. I have been using Becker & really like the program.

I’m trying to be as smart as possible with my time. For Becker: Do you all believe that I should focus mostly on MCQ? I’ve got the hunch the simulations, even though they’ve helped me practice journal entries, are not to be a major chunk of time. I also was thinking I would purchase the NINJA MCQ once I’ve finished F10 (two & half weeks before Exam date) and start plowing through those questions as well. I know for sure the best survival strategy is to do as many MCQ as possible.

Will I be OK if I focus on MCQ 95% of the time with Becker & NINJA MCQ towards the end of the study schedule? I’ve been studying 5 hours per day on the weekends & 3 hours a night on the weekdays while working full time. (40 hours at a VERY busy financial analyst job)

Thanks, reassurance and advice will be most appreciated.

Yes, I think 3 weeks in NINJA should be fine. I did something similar studying with Roger where I did most of the questions in his test bank and then 2 weeks before I started doing as many NINJA MCQs as possible…probably over 1,000 in the 2 weeks. The best advice I ever received was to set up J/Es as I'm doing the MCQs to help practice for the SIMS on the exam and also just to help you work out the problem in the MCQ. Good luck to you!

Sounds like a good plan – but keep in mind that everybody learns differently. I learn by pounding MCQ's, but some people learning by reading or listening. Most learn by combination of the 3.

    FAR: 63, 55, 62
    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81
