Hi. I’m currently signed up for the Becker Fast Pass program which will start in the middle of June. I have about 3 weeks that I can commit to studying before I begin the Becker Fast Pass Program. The Fast Pass schedule is as follows:
BEC: June 17 – June 24
FAR: June 28 – July 12
AUD: July 17 – July 24
REG: July 29 – August 7
Obviously, the Fast Pass schedule is extremely quick, so I feel like it’d be a good idea to get a jumpstart on the studying. Which tests should I start studying for during these 3 weeks before the Fast Pass program begins? I actually feel like I should do pretty well on BEC as I was a Finance and Accounting major and I had a very solid business core including IT and everything else at my university. The biggest challenge I see for BEC is cost accounting. I am probably most unfamiliar with the REG material, but since that class is not until August, it doesn’t seem to make much sense to start studying for that now. Since FAR has so much material, should I start reviewing that for 2 weeks, and then for the last week before the BEC class starts, start going through BEC material? And, if I do start studying for FAR, what would be the best review strategy? Should I actually try to get all of the specific details down for the different topics or should I just get a general understanding of all of the different topics since I’ll likely to forget the specific details once I do finally get to the FAR Fast Pass class?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
