I need to decide which of the two I should use to study for Audit. I have both Becker and Roger. The problem with Becker is that is too dry when it comes to Audit and they just want you to memorize everything. They don’t give any good examples and they also pretty much tell you to highlight the main points that they dont bother explaining. Becker is great for someone with Audit experience who just wants a review course with a great test bank, and everything straight to the point. Becker is great for FAR and REG based on my prior experience. I also think Becker has the best multiple choice software system in the market where you can practice after every small section.

Roger on the other hand has great easy to understand lectures. I think Audit is Roger’s strongest subject. You can really understand Audit just by watching and taking notes from Roger’s lectures.The only two problems with Roger is that his new 2014 MC data bank is a piece of shhh. For example, you finish watching section 1 on Chapter 1, and when you start working of the MC questions, you start getting questions from stuff either he never covered on his lectures, or they belong to another section. You also get a lot of repeats. I try contacting Roger about the questions that appeared on his test bank but were never covered on the lectures or his book, and they told me that he does not go over every singe little detail,but he wants to test you on it,so you can take notes. I don’t think that is such a great idea cause your score on HW will always be very low since you are tested on material you have not read. This also worries me cause a lot of questions on the real exam might be on little details he has not covered and that could be the difference between a 74 or 75.

I have tried to use Roger for the lectures and Becker for the practice question,but I cant cause Becker goes into detail that Roger does not, so it will be impossible to follow. What do you guys think I should do? Should I just go over Becker first and Roger later? Wouldn’t that take a long time? Should i just follow Roger, and pray that the exam does not cover the detail he is not covering? Please guys, help me out here!

This is a very interesting question. I wonder if more people have passed Audit just using Roger? I think his questions are too easy compare to Ninja and Wiley.

I would like to know how everyone did using Roger's Test Bank and passing, too.

I've been using Roger and I love the lectures, but like everyone else says, his new Test bank seems too easy. I bought Ninja MCQs and have been doing those. Very challenging. I'm trendimg around 70% after a TON of MCQs. Anyone else have that issue? I hope I'm prepared!

Im literally on the same situation as you are. Roger's test bank seem too easy so I started working on Wiley test bank and Becker. Now my average on both Becker and Wiley is about 85, but after completing 800 MC questions on Ninja, my average is around 72. I dont know if Im ready or not. It seems that Ninja asks you for details that Roger and Becker does not cover and this is the reason why our average is on the low 70s. What is your average on ninja (not trending)? How many questions have you completed thus far?

Average is 69 and I've done 1,371 questions. The other problem with Roger (and I've written them about this) is that the test bank only allows 50 questions per segment. However, you get the same questions over again and you never know if you've seen the remaining questions.

I am so tired of looking at these questions on Ninja. Ha!

According to peoples experience in the ninja thread, if you score on the low 70s, you have a chance of passing. I think Roger is the best instructor for Audit,but his test bank is a piece of shhhh.

I bought Gleim for the simulations, and I'm doing pretty good on both Gleim and Becker simulations. Im taking Becker's final exams to see if I have a chance cause if I go by Ninja then is a 50/50.
