I am thinking of using Becker to take REG and prepare for it in 8 weeks (7 weeks and 4 days to be exact). I am just wondering, is that doable with a full-time job? I want to finish with at least a week if not more time to review.

It's doable, I used Becker and studied for REG in 8 weeks while working full time. I studied a chapter a week and spent 1.5 weeks for my final review. I studied for an hour during lunch and 2 hours after work, total of 15 hours a week and took weekends off.

Definitely do-able. That's plenty of time. Start waking up 1.5 hours earlier than you normally would, pound some coffee and start hitting MCQ's. Study at lunch. MCQ's after work and reading the books/flashcards in bed. 2 weeks before the exam. Re-write your notes or the NINJA notes.

    You can do this.

Like others have stated, it's definitely possible. Depending on how well you comprehend and retain information, you could get 1-2 chapters done in a week. That leaves you with a solid 2-3 weeks to review.

It's definitely doable, I studied with Becker for 4 weeks for each part and passed 3/4. The one I did not pass is the one you are preparing for REG but that had more to so with my personal time management than with difficulty of the exam.
