For anyone who has taken REG and used Becker for it, how did you find the exam versus Becker? I have heard from one source that the exam was much different/more difficult than the Becker questions…but with my prior 3 exams I felt that the Becker questions were trickier than what I got on exam day.

Anyone who used Becker have any thoughts? I am trending in the 80s on the progress tests on the tax chapters I have been doing this week in preparation (although I am concerned that I am starting to remember the answers to questions…)

    FAR - 76
    AUD - 97
    BEC - 91
    REG - FEB-16

Good question. I used Roger to learn the material but used more Becker in my final review. I've heard from others say Becker practice tests are more trickier than the actual exam.

From personal experience, the FAR MCQs for NPO and Govt Accting were far more trickier in Becker than the actual exam.

I'm trending at the same percentage as you in Becker but I contribute a small portion of that for being repeat problems. Let's hope there's more feedback for this post

I solely used Becker for REG and I was averaging in the mid low to mid 80's on the progress tests. I think my average score for the first final exam was an 88 and 82 on second. I scored a 91 on the actual exam. I have only taking REG so far, but from my experience solely with REG I have to say Becker was tougher.

I agree, I start studying for REG next week and it would be good to hear what the consensus is.

I used Becker and thought that for this Exam they were pretty much even, if not Becker being a tad more difficult. Most other exams I found Becker to be much harder than the actual exam though.

I used Becker and felt it prepared me for the exam. If you go through all of the lectures and the text book in its entirety, you will be fine. I find using the “final review” courses good as well. There will be some questions that you really have to guess, but, upon checking I guessed correctly because I was well prepared.

I’d agree with Josh. About the same level of difficulty, but there will be a few curveballs. I think if you can get your practice tests between 80-90% you will do well and go into the exam confident.

    REG Aug 20/15: 88
    AUD: Feb 29/16: 80

The correct answer is that the mcq is adaptive. The Sims are luck of the draw. Therfore, everyone will give u a different answer
