I am taking BEC on Jan 4 and then starting right away to study for REG on 2/27. That gives me 8 weeks to prepare (and one dead weekend because I’m going out of town and I am going to enjoy myself dammit). There are 8 chapters and since busy season is starting, I am planning on doing 2 chapters per week the first 2 weeks, one chapter per week for the rest, and 2 for review (That’s where I utilize the Ninja MCQs; they haven’t failed me yet). With that being said, which sections of Becker did you find to be the least intense? I’d rather do those in the first 2 weeks so I have more time to focus on the harder topics (one week as opposed to 3ish days).

I really found the individual taxes the easiest (Chapters 1-2). If you are looking to get two other chapters in the next week and don't mind jumping around, the first two business law chapters would be the next two that I thought were pretty straight forward and easy to get through (Chapters 6-7). Hope this helps! I'll be taking Reg in 2 weeks and just finished the material through Becker.

@barrettky Nice, good luck. I'm studying for it at the moment. I'm in the middle of chapter 5, so i haven't gone through all the material yet but i think chapter 3 and 4 have a lot of information but i don't think its too tough to handle. I guess as long as you don't mix up the rules for individual, c corp, s corp and partnership then you should be fine. But so far i haven't found it being tough. Hopefully business law isn't tough.

    BEC: 82
    FAR: 80
    REG: 81
AUD: Last exam, end of may 2016.

Key to passing the exam is understanding the topic chapter and sections, not just memorizing what you read. The more you practice multiple choice, the greater chance you have to passing the exam.
