Hello all-

When you are going through the simulations that Becker provides in their course, how detailed do your responses tend to be until you just take a look at the answer? I’m on my first section and I’m finding it kinda difficult to come up with such “involved” responses past a few facts that pop into my head when reading the prompts. I’m used to the other type of simulations so I’m basically just looking for ways to attack this new format.

Just copy their answers until you can write something similar yourself. It may take you 20-30 essays, but practice makes perfect.

I would try to read all of the responses, but I wouldn't say it's a necessity to write every prompt out unless you feel uncomfortable about them in general. To get the most out of the Becker writing prompts, focus on the structure of the responses and the level of depth/complexity of the responses. Realize you may have never even heard of the topic of the prompt your given or you may see a general accounting topic that you may be able to teach to an accounting principles class. Before the test I only wrote four total prompts. One prompt covering the material and all three prompts on BEC Final Exam 1. I spent the extra time reviewing the material. Do prompts until you feel comfortable with structure and most of the content.

i never did the sims for BEC, just looked over the answer and watched the written communication lecture the night before my test

Passed all sections between 5/15 - 10/15 order AUD REG BEC FAR (used Becker only)
