Everyone who is using Becker in addition for their review and studying for AUD…make sure you go on the website and look at the lectures over again. They just added some new ones!! There's new lectures in like 3 chapters I believe. There are also more MCQs to answer, so at least there are more MCQs for review. I just wanted to give everyone a notice.

No im referring to information Becker just added to its study materials online. They added new videos on there to review. Its information about the “old” way before the clarity update. I guess they didn't know AICPA would continue to test on the old way.

I am studying for AUD now for my 2nd attempt and using Becker 2013 “B”, so the version incl the clarity update. As far as I can see it does not mention the old terms (such as unqualified opinion etc) at all.

I was already wondering if they might have missed that we will also be tested on the old stuff!

No problem…im glad I could be of help. I couldn't believe that they just updated it. I figured that would have already been included in it. I was wondering because NINJA notes knew all along that we needed to know the old stuff. But, Becker when I was doing my review again for my second retake they never were mentioning the 10 GAAS standards. Then I just log on tonight and they posted up new videos and more MCQs. I am glad that I found out tonight, rather than exam day.

Oh my, you're right. I just logged in now after being out for about 9 hours since this morning. As of this week, I am still finishing A3 and saw my A1 & A2 less than 100% finished.

I guess I need to go back up with A1 & A2 all over again?

@amordiva…I don't think you need to do them all over again unless you don't feel comfortable not. I would suggest just reviewing the new videos and then just do that attached MCQ's once you completed all the additional lectures. I feel you are going to get the “meat” of the studying through MCQ's and simulations. However, this is my own opinion. I hope you do well this next time with AUD! Good luck with the studying!!

Hey everyone, do you think AICPA messed up with us for not being very CLEAR about this CLARITY UPDATE?

IMO, it just makes most of the CPA candidates miserable not to be clearly told with what is really going to happen or what will be “actually” tested when we go to the testing center due to this discreditable act of examination disclosure.

To be fair with Becker, I don't think they should be fully blamed for this lack of clarity (which is causing us trouble) from the Board.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with “THE” AICPA office? I believe the one in NJ grades the exams. I want some clarity and some answers on why we are asked to know both standards.
