Peanut – I couldn’t find the thread where you were talking about losing Becker…….

Mine expires on 6/21. I called today and said that I’m freaking out because I have 1 section left and it’s scheduled for July 13th and my software expires in 10 days.

So she had me send her my prometric confirmation and my serial number and they gave me the extension! I can’t believe how easy it was. I was getting ready to get p1ssed if they said no. Ha.

Anyway, good luck studying for Audit! I’m studying for Audit’s evil cousin – FAR!

Woo hoo!! That is great! Thanks for the info! I have 32 days left on my Becker, and am sitting for AUD on July 3rd. So I should be good, I'm really trying to stick to that date! There is no reason I need to push it any farther, I'm not working right now and have the time… but NO motivation what so ever….

This should be it for you, last exam! What are you doing differently this time around?

Yup! I found it to be just that simple when I needed an extension. I believe it's a one time deal and they won't extend it beyond about 3 months. They are very good about working with you so that you have everything you need (from Becker) to finish your studies during that testing window.

@Peanut – good for you! That way you can have a 4th of July bash to celebrate becoming a CPA! 🙂 I think that this time, I am going to practice more SIMS and do more Wiley questions to get an edge. I also bought the NINJA audio. It's frustrating because I truly felt prepared and that the MCQs questions and SIMS were not surprises. That's the hardest part for me. My plan is to finish my review a week in advance so that I'm not cramming the few days before. I have no doubt that I know the material. It's just my test taking strategy itself that I am going to work on. Do more practice tests, not study the day before. I hope it gets me over the hump!

I'm rooting for you girl! I'll be the one chanting “Peanut, peanut, peanut, peanut!” when the score release comes out!

@CPA Anyday – thank you! I think you may have been the poster that suggested calling Becker! That's one of the reasons I love this forum! I told them that I listened to all the lectures and did all the MCQs but I don't want the new version – I just want my old MCQs!!!

I should have included that *if it was me* I would ask for the longest extension I could get. Most of us have had things happen that caused us to reschedule – and since it's a one time deal – you can't get another extension even if you needed it. I tried to open the program after it expired and it simply wouldn't open – so again, ask for the most and hopefully you won't need to use the entire extension.
