I observed something a little strange in Becker Regulation… As I am plugging along doing my lectures, I noticed that they always use “he” and “him” when describing partners, owners, ect… I didn’t necessarily think much of it until they referred to a Manager as a “she”. This manager was in the subordinate position. Then they did it again, but this time the “she” was a defendant in fraud! I laughed out loud a bit at this. I wonder if the writer’s found a little humor in this…
