Hey guys,

My brain is pretty fried after taking audit this weekend…but I decided to use the new 2017 to study for FAR and….I can’t locate the online textbook any where in the software???

Am I totally missing it or did they pull this feature?

Also- under your profile there's an option to turn on evaluation mode?

I can't find the online text book either. As far as I can tell you have to go into each lesson plan and click on the lectures which then show the textbook pages. On thr bottom left you can click and turn on the instructor notes so it looks the same as the old online textbook.
I hadnt yet discovered the evaluation mode option so I don't know about that.

Hi. The textbook is within each module. When you click homework there's a button for lecture on left side and you get the book. I am still trying to figure out evaluation mode. Hope this helped.

Just found out evaluation mode is for checking out software before activating the license to the software. It's been in the software for years. I never knew this at all. I wish it was explained to me when I purchased the software.

Can anyone find the chapter outlines that used to be provided? i feel like i've looked everywhere

I'm also looking for the outlines. They used to be found on the chapter dashboard screen, next to the online ebook button. Becker had 3-4 page outlines by chapter, love those. Can't find them.

Yes, it was in the software. The 3-4 page outlines are what I'm looking for, hopefully they still exist.

I haven't opened the new software yet. Are y'all doing it without the physical book? I've considered doing that, but now that the time is getting close I'm rethinking that decision.

I have the book, but I got it before the most recent update. The text doesn't coincide with lectures exactly. Was planning on using the outlines to take notes on lectures

Is anyone actually USING (studing with) the new Becker software? If so, can you please comment on how effectively you feel it is so far? Just asking because I am considering purchasing Becker for an upcoming post-April 1 section of the Exam.
