Becker Question –

I got the newest version recently, and it looks much thinner than the old one. Isn’t it supposed to be harder after the change? I’m confused. Does anyone know why? And how do you guys plan to study for it – only new book or + old book or + other materials like ninja/wiley?

I think they cut down on all the business law fluff.

I have the same concern. I have old version of Becker bec book and the new Version. And I notice that the new book is more simplified. Why is that???

Hey guys
I just started with REG. I've ordered the new book but for Chap 1- I'm taking notes off the lectures and MCQ. I think the lectures are much better. There is no highlighting and more concepts. I think Becker materials cover a lot of information. For the next exam- it is more focused on areas. It may have been a prior NINJA podcast- but Jess mentioned a lot of CPA review courses are a hybrid between CPA review and an accounting book. I think Becker is trying to be more focused.

From my understanding with NINJA- you don't even read the book. You take notes off the lectures and notes on MCQ. I hope it worked for BEC cause I find out next week!
