Hello, my friend passed the CPA last year and gave me his Becker 2011 lecture/books/videos. He also had access to Wiley’s 2012 MQ, would this be sufficient in passing the 2012 CPA test?

    Thanks.

Ya, the material provided is enough for clearing CPA…

    All the best.

That is what I am using. I spoke to someone at Becker that said the only change for 2012 was that they added chapters about improving study methods…

I got the 2012 FAR book because I could not look at my 2011 book one more time. The biggest change is they added an extra chapter but they just took parts from other chapters and put it into the extra chapter. And I think they made ancillary material not ancillary anymore. But I did notice some actual changes in the book at least in Chapter 1 so far. But I just have the FAR book so I don't know about changes in other sections.

For Reg, make sure you study the ancillary material if you have the 2011 book. Most of that material was pulled out and made into an extra chapter in 2012.

    FAR: 81
    REG: 85
    AUD: 73,71,83
    BEC: 82

    DONE!!!!!!

I just wanted to say thanks to all the replies!

Also, from what people have told me, actually read the chapters after going over them in the lectures. I've got the Wiley 2012 MQ test bank to use, so I guess I'll use that as a “final review” just to make sure I haven't accidentally skipped over something. I'm taking REG first week of July.

    Good luck everyone!
