This post is for anyone who had the previous 2010 edition on Becker installed and recently received the new 2011 edition. How do you access the 2011 edition software through the 2010 course disc.? Do I need to do a complete uninstall/reinstall of the entire course disc or is there a simpler approach for doing this. Thanks…..if anyone knows an answer to this anyway.

You don't need to uninstall 2010 edition. Just make sure you have the serial number from 2010. Just install 2011 and it will walk you through the process.

I have both editions installed at the same time…..You wont need to uninstall the 2010 version to install the 2011 version.

Do you guys have the new 2011 course disc too? My dilemma is that I only have the 2010 course disc with my serial #. I ordered the free 2011 updates from becker and they sent me the 4 lectures discs and not the 2011 course disc. So when I put the 2011 course disc in, nothing pops up for me to run an install. This is why I am thinking I need to do a fresh install with the 2010 course disc, and when I select to watch a lecture, it should ask me if I want to copy the lecture files to the computer, and this is where I can select the 2011 lecture disc. I'm not sure. I just don't want to end up uninstalling and my license number not working when I go to reinstall. Ahhhh….I should be studying!

You would need the 2011 course disc to install each individual section, Contact Becker. They must have forgot to include it.

I have 2010 installed. For 2011, I recieved a 2011 course disc, 2011 final review disc, then each section disc (but all I needed was AUDIT). I put in the 2011 course disc and it would “run” immediately and install. I have two seperate icons on my desktop, one for 2010 and one for 2011.

You can try Becker through Facebook. They are MUCH better at answering there, than customer service 800# or customer service email.

What a bunch of idiots! Thanks for the update. I was wondering what to do. Thanks for the quick post. I was going to try to run the 2011 lecture disc with the 2010 course disc. That could have been bad.
