    Hi All,

I’m starting to prep for FAR and I’m using Becker. The new Becker is very long and it’s taking me forever trying to finish all the modules for F1. Any advice on how I can efficiently study with Becker? I have 45 days until I take my exam and I can put in about 5 hours-a-day studying. I will be grateful for any tips.

I skipped the Skills Practice sections. I was using the old Becker before so I was not prepared for huge amounts of change. If this is your first time studying FAR, you may want to watch the lectures and then do the MCQ for that module, then continue to the next lecture. I know for some people, doing MCQ right after watching the lecture isn't beneficial because they just learned the material, so they watch all the lectures first then do all the MCQ for that chapter.

I also skipped the skills practice as they were watered down SIMS anyway. My learning style was better for the lectures than reading the book and taking notes, but that might not be for everyone. I would do the lectures and hammer the MCQs.

    BEC - 79
    REG - August
    FAR - TBD

I'm switching it up and watching all the lectures first and then doing the MCQ. I'm skipping the skills practice. It's going much faster now. I feel more accomplished once I finish the lectures. Thanks for the helpful advice @tskits75 and @curlygirl1213.

I actually dont think you should skip skills practice. The reason why they added those is because sims are just as important as MCQs now. I think the best way to go about it is the method that they tell you to. Lecture > SP > MCQ. I've tried the live lecture format of Becker before where they ramble on for 4 hours straight and by the time I do the mcq I already forgot half of what they talked about.
