For those that own both the 2010 and 2011 Becker Auditing textbook, is there a major revision between the two? Or would you be able to use the 2010 textbook and jot down the changes using the 2011 PDF change?

    Thanks.

I used both books.. There wasn't a big difference. 2011 added the Independence and PCAOB and SOX rules, which you can get from your reg book. Also there were a few, very few, International questions. It's only $20 to upgrade to the 2011 book as long as you have license time remaining.

Thanks CPA Someday. My license expired so I'll stick with the 2010 text and review the Independence and PCAOB and SOX rules.

I would upgrade and get the new book for $20. I got the new disc for free and there was hardly any changes on there. A couple new questions on IAS, but other than that not much of a change. There were a couple of questions on the AUD exam in the first question that I had no idea about that I read later on where addressed in the new book

    BEC - 86
    AUD - 94
    REG - 88
    FAR - 89
