Hello everyone, I am preparing for my last CPA exam, BEC. I have cleared the rest sections scoring FAR 90, AUD 82, REG 94. My FAR score expires end of next month. I had supplemented previous 3 exams with Wiley testbanks, but I don’t plan to supplement for BEC. I wish to give my BEC exam before 22nd of this month so I can get my score my 9th of next month for contingency reasons. I wish to know, if I need to suppliment with a testbank?
I am giving details of prep if someone can help me better.
The Becker review that I have contains 6 chapters, 1122 MCQs, 37 Sims, 23 written communications, 3 mini exams after every 2 chapters and 2 full simulated exams.
I have completed going through the entire theory once with lecture and I use to start my each day solving 32MCQs before doing anything else. I have completed all the MCQs, Sims and watched Becker’s skill master videos of each written communications. I have also maintained a spreadsheet module wise, tracking my scores which shows answering 82% MCQs correctly in first attempt
I have started second review of theory and I have already completed 1st chapter in Becker. I now start my day with solving 100-130 MCQs and 4 sims a day in exam format and then go though reviewing each MCQ I got wrong and any other MCQs I feel important to review again. Then I do the theory and end my day with solving tough and tricky sims of that chapter. It usually takes 1-2 days for me to finish reading the entire chapter. I will also finish giving mini exams during my second review of theory.
Once I am done with second revision I would take a day for rest and give one Becker Sim exam. I would then give myself a week of time before exam, to keep practicing same number of MCQs, Sims and also practice Written Communications everyday and then rest of the day going through my notes, flashcards in Becker’s.
