Is F-10 (FAR) for Becker even tested?

    Becker Question –

    For example, I hear partnerships is not even a part of FAR.

    AUD- 71, 73, 87 Done!!!!!
    BEC- 75
    FAR- 72, 77
    REG- 77

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!

    @Whyme – The CSO details what is tested for each section. What year are your study materials? Partnerships are in REG.

    Yes, partnerships is part of FAR. A pretty big part! If you have to create a set of financial statements for an entity, no matter which one, then it's on FAR.

    Okay perfect, by partnerships we mean the goodwill method, exact method etc. I just wanted to double check because I had actually studied that and did well so I'm glad

    Here's the link to the CSO's. Business Structures was moved to REG but the financial statements and valuations for partnerships is still in FAR.

    I had forgotten that too @mini but I kept seeing questions in Wiley on FAR that were very similar to the ones in REG but I would get them wrong on one practice test and get them right in another. I finally figured out what was going on and that I needed to RTFQ!

    I just saw this! Thought noone had responded! Thanks guys, yeah I just kept hearing people say that Partnerships was not on FAR at all. I am glad it is though.
