Becker Question –

First Post

Just started reviewing for the exam. I will be tutoring undergrads in the fall and anticipate some downtime. I am in the market for a new phone. I will consider an iphone but only if I can successfully watch the videos from the phone.

I know there is an app, but the mere existence of an app doesn’t mean it is usable. Does anyone have experience using the app on their iphone for review purposes?

Don't know anything about said app, but I know that iphones are complete garbage. Get a Galaxy S3 or those new Nokia phones. Better yet, get a cheap netbook and keep your old phone. Would be able to do everything on a netbook.

get the s4 or htc one,

big screens will make them great for watching lectures

also, they can play more different types of video files vs iphones!

but its ur preference

Thank you all for the advice. I currently have a dumb phone as in not smart. I feel like I need to join the rest of this decade and get a phone that can connect to wifi and read more than just the most basic of emails and web pages.

I was thinking of using the phone instead of using a netbook or similar. The less stuff I need to drag around campus the better.

I was mostly interested in people's experiences using the app. If the video is impossible to see then I will just go the cheap netbook route. I'm aware that it wont be as easy to see as a bigger screen but I'm willing to compromise for portability's sake.

Becker video won't play on iPhone or iPad unfortunately (it's Flash).

I love my iPhone and I use Roger CPA which enables me to watch his lectures through Safari.
