Hi,

I am using Becker to study for Auditing. I am new to Auditing , and never took an auditing class before in college ( International Student), so i need to understand the concepts first.

I watched the few videos and till now its pretty much highlighting a lot of stuff.

Need advice to how to use the materials. Do i need to read the text and do the videos. or just doing the videos is enough? I am planning to supplement it with Wiley test bank.

Please advice.

As tedious of a process as it is, I find what works most for me is taking notes on the chapter. I'll take notes on all of the highlighted parts and read the chapter as I do it. Chapter 2 was around 80 pages, so that killed my hand! But I find it helps me get a bigger picture of what I'm learning. And then I'll go through the MCQ's to focus on the details. Every chapter, do a progress test so that you don't forget the previous chapters! I need to force myself to do this more often.

I'd also say to work a ton of MCQ's. I think that with the intricacies audit has, it's important to drill it all into your head and memorize!
