I am starting my FIRST Becker class this January (REG). Does anyone have tips or helpful hints on how to prepare for those classes? I’m pretty nervous to be starting this crazy journey.

Are you familiar with tax? individual and corporate? If not, I'd suggest skimming the chapters before going to class. I only took 1 tax class in college and I found that REG was very complex. After the first 2 days of REG Becker Live class, I decided I needed to take it a bit slower. I personally liked the video lectures since I was able to pause whenever I was confused. Becker Live classes are excellent for some individuals — there was a few people I met during these classes who passed financial just by showing up to class and doing the hw problems.
