How do you manage 2 exams in one testing window with Becker class?

I am currently enrolled in a college CPA review class using Becker materials for AUD and BEC. I recently finished a similar class for FAR which covered 10 chapters and a Final Review in 12 weeks. I had about a 2 week review before taking my exam.

This AUD/BEC class covers 6 chapters of each subject in 12 weeks and also includes Final Review materials. It officially begins this Sunday and keeps us to a schedule of 1 chapter per week. There is no break between classes, so I would have to figure out a way to do a final review time of AUD while also being held responsible to begin BEC class during the first weeks of July. How does someone fit in studying for an exam of one subject while also keeping up with the new class? My goal was to take AUD in the middle of July and BEC at the end of August. Would it make more sense to try to take both at the end of August so I don’t have to overlap stuff in the middle? Or would it be too difficult to try to retain all this information for the same week or day? These two subjects don’t have much crossover that would confuse me, do they? Any ideas?

    FAR - 92 (4/27/12)
    AUD - 96 (7/17/12)
    BEC - 92 (8/30/12)
    REG - 91 (11/12/12)

I did not need my final review week for BEC and you won't either if you review extensively as you go. I also did one chapter per week, and I dedicated a LOT of time to it, but I had plenty of time to review as I went. By the middle of week 6, I was ready to take the test, so I moved up my test date. I made it a point to review what I'd previously learned by reading the book and doing progress tests. If you do that, you won't need a review, in my opinion.

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂

Also, you do not want to study for any of them at the same time. It is just too much. BEC and AUD do have overlap, it wouldn't be that confusing. But having done BEC and now studying AUD, I can't imagine doing both at once. Find a way to do one, then the other.

I just took BEC and felt it was piece of cake. I remembered you had the same feeling. I'm now worried that me easy testlet probably means I was doing bad. I just came home and saw in becker that 3 easy! Question that I selected are wrong.

I guess 5 concepts question in each testlet, which I didn't know where they were coming from. Maybe they were experimental questions? If not, then I'm screwed. But overall I felt it was easy. Reason I was guessing these question because all other math question I was 100% sure they correct. So I said to myself 18/24 is not bad in each testlet and I can pull points frm WC. Are all questions worth same points?? If easy question are 1/2 pts and med are 2 pt, 3 pts for hard. Then I might be trouble.

How do you feel about this? If I pass BEC, I am also doing two exam next window.

Thanks! I may try to get ahead a bit somehow (have a nice long 3 day weekend ahead of me) so that I can take a week or two between the classes. Then I may just have to be a little late on my first week's assignment for BEC. I appreciate the input. Don't think I would like to save everything up for the end of the month.
