I’m looking to purchase a review course. Currently I’m trying to decide between Becker and Yaeger. I was looking at Becker review online for the structure, but also the flexibility. However, I was kind of looking for something that I could use a tablet to watch lectures at work and maybe even do multiple choice. When I spoke to the people at becker, they said the online portal is only for discussion boards and being able to convo the instructor. It doesn’t sound like much structure to me. Anyone have any experience with this?

I am enrolled in the Becker Online course, but the timeframes did not work out for me so I basically defaulted to Self Study. I have a cheapo, no-name Android 2.3 7” tablet that accesses everything on the Becker Online portal just fine. The videos take a moment to load, but once they start they are smooth. I don’t prefer this on my tablet because its pretty small and if you zoom in the text gets grainy. Still, it’s a good option if you are out.

Keep in mind that the time you can access the online portal is limited (my class started early January and access shuts down on August 31). The software on the other hand is good for 18 months, but there is no way to run it on a tablet. Also, the simulations are only on the software.
